Rust Red Short Sleeve Maxi Dress

I'm 5' 11", 210 pounds and a 40D. I tend to wear a xl and usually size up to a xxl when ordering clothes from amazon. I read reviews about it running small in the busy. That part is true! I sized up and ordered a 3xl and I'm glad I did. It's not too big in the body. The empire waist doesn't hit where it's designed to (because, ya know, boobs), but it still works and the girls are contained and not uncomfortable. The dress is a great option for a hot day. I was looking for something to wear other than shorts. I was also worried about the length being taller. The dress length is good and still hits about ankle length.

I hesitated buying this dress as I was sure it would never fit. So happy to be wrong. I bought an XXL, which is my typical size. But, most items that large are designed for large chested woman - not for me. As overweight as I am, it is not in my chest. They also tend to have huge armholes. This dress does not. I am also short waisted, making most strap dresses too long at the straps. This dress fits me to a T. Nice, smooth bodice, lays flat all around, with adjustable straps that allow the top line and armholes to lay perfectly smooth. The rest of the dress has a beautiful flow to just above my ankles (I’m 5’7”). The colors aren’t as bright as expected, but really beautiful. The fabric is soft and lightweight, yet not see through. Really feels good against my skin. Living in Arizona, I need only to add a shrug or jean jacket to make this dress a year-round item. Absolutely love it!
